Yeh Lando. Constructers is the only meaningful so you did well..

  2. Jere Jyrälä

Finally, a redemption for the 2021 Russian GP, although the caveat of benefitting from a race control error comes with his maiden win.
What an amateurish error for the SC to pick up the wrong driver, although even if he rejoined behind, he still would've had the same tyre advantage & thus probably the same outcome either way.
Sainz barely bothered to turn, so a justified 5-second penalty.
The Magnussen-Sargeant collision seemed more or less 50-50, but the former should've realized to back off rather than force himself to stay alongside with the gap closing, so a fair penalty decision.

Highlight of the season so far but I'm sure the status quo of Best Car Poor Team Mate combo will continue next race.

    • Jere Jyrälä

Indeed in all likelihood, but getting different winners every now & then is good for a change.

Yes he won , and thats all that counts, ofcourse, the fact remains , it was a bit of luck re the safety car timings, and Max said from day 1,the car isnt performing as he wanted, had it been a race without incident , would Lando still have won?, or would it have been Pastry boy, or was Max just controlling the pace to begin with, well never know , BUT the record books record the winners, So its good for Lando, good for Mcl,good for British motorsport and good for Max and Rb , hes extended his lead as have Rb and thats what matters.

And 10 updates really? dare I say thats an unprecedented number for 6 races in, theyd better hope theyve really made the difference, A lot of questions unanswered yet

Well done to the Dame, you beat your team mate...

    • Jere Jyrälä

I'm sure he would've still won as he would've rejoined second at the lowest in any case with the same tyre advantage combined with Max having an added disadvantage via floor damage from hitting the bollard, so with these factors in mind, Lando would've probably passed him relatively soon after the SC period.

  5. Tommy

Well lets see, Max won the Sprint race and finished 2nd in the GP in a car he was never really happy with and over the course of the weekend he gained a point on Lando and several on everyone else, as a matter of fact he could set out the next 2 races and only be 19 or 14 points down only to Perez or Leclerc respectively if they won those 2 races and also set the fastest lap doing it. Man what a horrible weekend. Poor Max and RB have fell apart and their reign of terror is over. I mean come on a 1st and a 2nd in two races....what a chump and a dismal weekend. Give me a break!
