Lewis Hamilton won the first ever Formula 1 grand prix of Russia. He made it look like a very easy 31st win of his career.
The Mercedes driver almost lost his pole position lead at the start, because Nico Rosberg had more speed coming on to the first corner. Rosberg braked to late for the corner, ruined his tyres and had to pit to get new tyres.
Rosberg showed his skill and drove back to second place druing the race on 1 set of tyres minus 1 lap. Valterri Bottas keeps performing and earned 3rd place again for Williams. Read complete 2014 Russian F1 GP race report.
