Event: Dutch Grand Prix
Track: Circuit Zandvoort

Warm-up lap starts at: 15:00 Local | 15:00 CET | 14:00 UK | 06:00 LA | 22:00 Tokyo

Lando Norris will start the final Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort from pole position after beating George Russell by 0.102s in qualifying. Championship leader Kimi Antonelli lines up third alongside Oscar Piastri, while Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc share the third row.

Max Verstappen faces a far tougher task in his final home Grand Prix, starting only seventh ahead of stand-in Red Bull team-mate Liam Lawson. With every Dutch Grand Prix since Formula 1 returned to Zandvoort having been won from pole, Norris holds a crucial advantage, but Mercedes' stronger race pace in the Sprint means Russell and Antonelli remain serious threats from directly behind.

How the Predictor works

No bookmakers, no odds: every number comes from the F1-Fansite results database. Each driver gets a strength score from the factors below; the race is then simulated 10,000 times and we count how often each driver wins, finishes on the podium or scores points. It does not know about weather or reliability, and it says so. Grid penalties count as soon as the official starting grid is in.

60%Championship formPoints this season, relative to the leader.
40%Recent formThe last five finishes; a DNF counts as P20.
0%Starting gridHow often each grid slot has won over the last eight seasons. Joins after qualifying.

Before qualifying the model is honest about the odds: three or four candidates share most of the chance. After qualifying the grid takes over and the call sharpens.

I can't edit my prediction. I haven't tried to do this before as I expected you would not be able to change it once FP1 starts.

I'm not so sure. Both McLarens looked vulnerable in the sprint, which I feel might suggest an issue with the car. It's hard to pass, but Leclerc managed it. He's further back now. Not sure about Russell's ability to overtake and Antonelli will have to get past Russell first before he can get to Lando. I'm still hopeful about a Lando win, but not entirely confident or sure he has the car.
