Event: Miami Grand Prix
Track: Miami International Autodrome

Warm-up lap starts at: 13:00 Local | 19:00 CET | 18:00 UK | 10:00 LA | 02:00 Tokyo

The Miami Formula 1 Grand Prix will start three hours earlier than originally planned due to the heavy rainstorms forecast.

Kimi Antonelli starts from pole for the 2026 F1 Miami Grand Prix, with Max Verstappen alongside him on the front row after Red Bull’s upgraded car finally showed real signs of life. Charles Leclerc and Sprint winner Lando Norris line up directly behind, giving Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari and McLaren one car each inside the top four.

With rain forecast for race day and the new 2026 cars still largely untested in proper wet conditions, this grid has all the ingredients for a chaotic Miami Grand Prix. Antonelli has the speed, Verstappen has the momentum, and the pack behind them will be waiting for the first mistake.

Red Bull replaced the 4th Energy Store (ES) and 4th Control Electronics Unit (PU-CE) power unit parts on the car of Isack Hadjar without the approval of the FIA Technical Delegate during Parc Ferme.

The wet conditions mean that anything's possible, so the most exciting Miami GP to date seems likely.
