Abu Dhabi Young Drivers F1 test day 1

Not all F1 teams have left the Yas Marina Circuit. McLaren, Red Bull, Sauber, Lotus, Toro Rosso and Caterham are still working at the paddock to do 3 days of testing with the so called Young Drivers Program.

Yesterday the first young drivers did their first testing sessions. Because we don't know the setups of the cars it's hard to know if the drivers did a good job.

Some of the drivers had their first run in a F1 car and drove the following lap times.

The fastest lap time during the 2012 Abu Dhabi F1 GP was 01:43.964s set by Sebastian Vettel on lap 54.

The fastest qualifying lap time was 01:40.630 set by Lewis Hamilton in the McLaren MP4-27.
