The starting grid for the 2024 Emilia Romagna Grand Prix has been set following an intense qualifying session at the Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. Max Verstappen secured pole position, continuing his dominant form this season. McLaren's Oscar Piastri delivered an outstanding performance to claim second place, while his teammate Lando Norris starts third, making it a strong showing for McLaren.
Ferrari's Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz will start fourth and fifth, respectively, providing the Scuderia with a promising position at their home race. George Russell lines up sixth for Mercedes, ahead of AlphaTauri's Yuki Tsunoda in seventh. Lewis Hamilton will start eighth, with Daniel Ricciardo and Nico Hulkenberg completing the top ten.
