Ricciardo to open for Red Bull

Daniel Ricciardo will drive for Red Bull when pre-season testing returns on Thursday.

Ricciardo will start Red Bull’s testing programme in Barcelona, as they look to recover from a disappointing start to their season after they struggled in Jerez.

Ricciardo will also drive on day two, before he hands over to his new Russian team-mate Daniil Kvyat for the final two days.

The third and final pre-season test starts just four days after the second one, as teams look to shape up ahead of the first race in Australia in less than 30 days’ time.
