Event: Brazilian Grand Prix
Track: Autodromo Interlagos

Warm-up lap starts at: 14:00 Local | 18:00 CET | 17:00 UK | 09:00 LA | 02:00 Tokyo

Under the golden haze of São Paulo’s late-afternoon sun, the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix qualifying session unfolded like a full-blown telenovela, equal parts drama, redemption and disbelief. On a weekend already shaken by Oscar Piastri’s Sprint crash and Max Verstappen’s mounting frustration, Lando Norris once again delivered a masterclass that could prove season-defining.

From the moment Q1 began, the Interlagos circuit seemed hungry for surprises. Grip was inconsistent, gusts of wind toyed with braking zones, and half the grid looked one twitch away from disaster. As the dust settled, it was Norris who kept his nerve, mastering the changing conditions to secure his second pole position of the weekend, a statement that screams, “this championship is mine to lose.”

Behind him, Mercedes rookie Kimi Antonelli continues to astonish the paddock, sticking his silver arrow on the front row yet again and refusing to play the apprentice. Charles Leclerc wrestled his Ferrari to third, while the title picture took another twist as Verstappen’s shocking Q1 exit left Red Bull scratching their heads and the Dutchman visibly seething.

The contrast couldn’t be starker: Norris surfing the wave of momentum, Verstappen drowning in set-up confusion, and Piastri quietly nursing confidence wounds. Add in the fiery midfield mix of Lawson, Bearman, and Gasly, and we’ve got the makings of another Interlagos classic, unpredictable, passionate, and possibly pivotal for the 2025 title chase.

So, before lights out on Sunday, here’s how they’ll line up on the grid for the 2025 Brazilian Grand Prix…
