What Does PU-ANC Mean in F1?

PU-ANC stands for Power Unit Ancillary Components. It is an FIA term used for a group of supporting components connected to a F1 car's power unit.

Unlike major power unit elements such as the internal combustion engine (ICE), turbocharger (TC) or MGU-K, PU-ANC covers a range of smaller systems and components required for the power unit to operate correctly.

What are Power Unit Ancillary Components?

The FIA Technical Regulations identify exactly which components are classed as PU-ANC. What happens if a driver exceeds the PU-ANC limit?
