Caterham signs 'multi year' contract with Pic

Caterham on Friday confirmed reports Charles Pic has signed a "multi-year contract" to switch from Marussia in 2013 and beyond.
"It is clear that he is a special talent," said Caterham's new team boss Cyril Abiteboul, who like Pic is French.
The team's current race lineup is the salaried Finn Heikki Kovalainen, and Russian Vitaly Petrov.
It is rumoured the sponsored Dutchman Giedo van der Garde will be Pic's teammate next year.
It is further strongly rumoured that Marussia will replace Pic with Briton Max Chilton in 2013, whose father is the multi-millionaire Grahame, the owner of the Carlin GP2 team he drove for in 2012.
