Mercedes boss Toto Wolff has hit out at the decision to keep the much-criticised F1 qualifying system for this weekend’s Bahrain Grand Prix.
The elimination-style system was introduced in Australia two weeks ago, but failed to entertain fans and left drivers confused as the track laid bare for minutes at a time.
However, no solution has yet been found and the same system will be kept this weekend.
"This weekend we will see the new qualifying system continue after a less-than-impressive debut in Australia,” said Wolff.
"The teams were unanimous in their opinion of it on Sunday in Melbourne, and it wasn't a positive opinion.
"We haven't found the right format with this change and it's hard to see how it might be more entertaining for the fans this weekend in Bahrain."
The idea was originally scrapped straight after qualifying in Melbourne, but will be kept for  one more race.
