Description
Losail International Circuit description
The Losail International Circuit is located 20 kilometres north of the Qatar capital city of Doha. It was built in preparation for hosting Qatar’s first ever MotoGP event in 2004. The track was completed in just over a year building time.
The track was designed primarily with motorcycle racing in mind, the 5.4-kilometre Losail International Circuit is a fast and flowing track. There are medium- and high-speed corners predominate. The track only has only one straight, that's over one kilometre long and is also used as start grid.
