Scherzinger opens up on Hamilton split

American pop star Nicole Scherzinger has revealed that she and Lewis Hamilton both made the decision to end their relationship.

The pair broke up for the fourth time this week, with reports suggesting that this time it will be for good.

Scherzinger told reporters: “I’m disappointed that it didn’t work out. It was the hardest decision we had to make, but we made it together.  I love Lewis and I know he loves me.

“We wish nothing but happiness and the very best for one another. I’m trying to stay strong in my faith right now.”

Hamilton and Scherzinger first met in late 2007, and became a couple shortly after. They first broke up in 2010, but got back together shortly after. They split for a second time in late 2011, and again in July 2013.

It has been reported that the difficulties of a long-distance relationship, and Hamilton's reluctance to get married are behind the break-up.
