Riverside International Raceway, located in Riverside County, California, opened in 1957 and hosted its only Formula 1 World Championship round — the 1960 United States Grand Prix, won by Stirling Moss in a Lotus-Climax. The 5.271 km layout was a major American sports-car venue throughout the 1960s and 1970s but never returned to F1 hosting. Closed in 1989 and demolished for shopping mall development.
