The Pedralbes Circuit, a 6.316 km street circuit on broad avenues in the Pedralbes district of western Barcelona, Spain, hosted the Spanish Grand Prix in 1951 and 1954. The high-speed boulevard layout produced top speeds approaching the limits of 1950s machinery. F1 abandoned the venue after the 1955 Le Mans disaster led Spain to also restrict street racing — and Spain\'s F1 presence vanished for over a decade until Jarama.

Key corners

01 Diagonal

A long high-speed straight along Avinguda Diagonal, the broad Barcelona boulevard. Top-speed sections defined the layout — drivers approached the limits of 1950s tyres.

02 Pedralbes Curve

A medium-fast right through the suburban district giving the circuit its name. The signature corner of an otherwise high-speed boulevard layout.

03 Final Section

A medium-fast sequence onto the main straight. Exit speed defined the long acceleration zone.
