Every driver below has already served a grid penalty for changing power unit elements.
On this page you can see how many power unit elements each driver has used during the 2025 Formula 1 season. The number of elements allowed per car is limited: in 2025 each car may use 4 ICE, 4 TC, 4 MGU-H, 4 MGU-K, 2 ES, 2 CE and 8 EX without a penalty. Exceed that and the driver takes a grid penalty at the next race. Yuki Tsunoda has taken the most, 11 elements beyond the allowance.
