Peter Windsor Reviews Austrian GP Friday Sessions

Journalist and former F1 team manager Peter Windsor reviews a scorching Friday at the Red Bull Ring, where Kimi Antonelli continued his dominant run by topping both practice sessions.

The young Italian looked untouchable in the hot Austrian conditions, finishing the afternoon more than half a second clear of his Mercedes teammate George Russell.

McLaren's Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris locked out the second row in practice, while Red Bull's Max Verstappen placed fourth ahead of Lewis Hamilton's Ferrari.

Russell, in the other works Mercedes, could only manage sixth, leaving Windsor to dissect the key storylines from a sweltering day in Spielberg.
