Lando Norris led a McLaren 1-2 in the mixed conditions, which included heavy rain at the midway point. Oscar Piastri was the early favorite after grabbing the lead from Max Verstappen, but received a 10-second penalty for erratic driving behind the Safety Car, finishing second.
Nico Hulkenberg famously achieved his first F1 podium in his 239th start, which is the longest an F1 driver has gone before his maiden podium.
It was a thrilling race with many alternatives, mistakes and drama.
