Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff has told his team that their back-to-back poor starts are unacceptable.
Both Ferrari drivers moved ahead of Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg at the start of the Hungarian Grand Prix, and Sebastian Vettel eventually went on to win his third race of the season.
A similar incident took place in Britain, where Williams jumped past the Mercedes to take a 1-2 lead, although Hamilton eventually claimed the win.
Wolff told Motorpsort.com: “[I’m] Very concerned. We got jumped by two Williams' last time, and jumped by two Ferraris this time. This was what triggered the whole mess, and then the lap one incident.
“We need to get on top of the situation. It is not acceptable and it needs to be analysed why it happened. It is many various reasons, it is not one particular one. If you look at it, not good.”
The next race is in Belgium in three weeks.
