Claire Williams has said that she wishes she was braver when meeting with some of the sports most powerful figures.
The Williams deputy team principal is among the most respected and well liked faces on the grid, and has helped transform the team her team into a top three outfit.
However, she says she F1 is very male dominated, with only her and Monisha Kaltenborn in executive positions.
“Our sport is very male dominated and sometimes I am the only girl in the room," Williams said at a Sport Industry Group event for future leaders.
"I sit in a room with the likes of Bernie Ecclestone, Jean Todt, Christian Horner,) Toto Wolf. All these amazingly big names in our sport.
"I sometimes feel like I'm the little girl in the room. Sometimes I wish, when I'm responsible for fighting for my team and my team's position within our sport, (I'm) perhaps sometimes braver."
