World Champion Lewis Hamilton has said that his 2014 success is only the start of what could be a dominant era.
Hamilton beat his team-mate, Nico Rosberg, to win his second world championship in the brilliant Mercedes car, which was far faster than any of its rivals.
The Englishman believes things can only go from strength to strength. He told reporters: “I wanted to be a part of something building and growing.
“I feel this is just the beginning. What this team has put together is something incredibly special. We’ve got great people in their right positions and me and Nico will continue to push the team forwards.”
Hamilton described his success as the “greatest day of my life.”
Mercedes will be the hot favourites again in 2015, after producing one of the most dominant cars ever seen in F1.
