The changes to the drivetrain for 2026 are staggering. 50% of he energy to get the car around the track is required to be electric. What's the time penalty for using only the reciprocating engine when the battery get drained? 2 seconds? 10 seconds? God-forbid a driver gets to the beginning of a straight with nothing left in the battery.
The virtue-signallers' lobby got their wish. Kind of a joke really, with a squadron of 747's lugging the hardware around the world, at 45,000 feet.
I hope it's a complete disaster, so the V10's will be back in 2027.
Racing has nothing to do with sustainability and ot kills F1.
When will people finally wake up!
Though I am glad to see Ford back in the ring.
Net 0 has always been and continues to be STUPID!
