Last year, the 7th edition of the KENNOL Grand Prix de France Historique celebrated the 20th anniversary of Renault's first F1 Constructors' Championship.

The very car that carried Fernando Alonso to the first of his two world titles, the 2005 Renault R25, chassis 07, thundered back onto the track with ex-Renault test driver Franck Montagny at the wheel, running with barely any rev limits.

The R25's 3.0-litre V10 screamed past 19,000 rpm, producing over 900 hp in a 605 kg championship-winning machine. It was one of the most spectacular historic single-seater events of last year, as captured in a video posted by 19Bozzy92 on YouTube.
