Ithink this movie was pushed to garner more interest by the US. I just read a review that may curb new viewers. Too much typical Hollywood and not enough of real substance. What makes F1 so uniqiue is not just fast cars, but how strategy in both the use of tires, when to pit, when to stay out. Driver and car compatibility is so important. This movie appears not to be terribly interested in the finer points of the sport, just a lot of fast driving from every camera angle. Credibility is also a bit of a stretch, something that Hollywood is never concerned with. Grand Prix is still considered the best movie about F1. I’ll leave it at that!
I've seen the film and thought it was awesome. Not very likely in terms of story line, but an awesome film non the less. I loved it.
Me too. Having the real drivers and other players mixed in was done well. Easily worth the price of admission.
