**From 2014 to 2021, Mercedes reigned supreme in Formula 1, clinching an unprecedented eight consecutive Constructors' World Championships.** However, since the 2022 season, the team has faced significant challenges adapting to the new ground effect regulations. These difficulties have seen them slip behind rivals Red Bull, McLaren, and Ferrari in the standings. The beginning of 2024 continued to reflect these struggles, but recent races have shown signs of improvement.
