In a new video from the Williams F1 Team's YouTube channel, Jamie Chadwick fulfils a lifelong ambition by getting behind the wheel of a Formula 1 car. Her drive places her alongside the sport's female pioneers, Maria Teresa de Filippis and Lella Lombardi.

Chadwick drove the Williams FW47, the team's 2025 car, at the Autódromo Internacional do Algarve in Portimão, Portugal. She completed 32 laps at the circuit, which will return to the F1 calendar in 2027

She also becomes only the second woman to drive a Williams F1 car, following F1 Academy CEO Susie Wolff, who did so in 2014. It's a landmark moment for both the driver and the team.
