Donington Park, located in Leicestershire, England, opened in 1931 and rebuilt by Tom Wheatcroft in 1977. The 4.020 km layout hosted just one Formula 1 race — the 1993 European Grand Prix, made legendary by Ayrton Senna\\'s first-lap overtaking masterclass in torrential rain. The famous opening sequence of Redgate, Craner Curves, and Old Hairpin remains one of the finest in British motorsport.
