Qualifying results 2013 Australian F1 Grand Prix
Sebastian Vettel qualified 1st in his Red Bull RB9
After the qualifying session was postponed because of heavy rain and incoming nightfall yesterday, all 22 cars came to action again this morning in Melbourne to finish the qualifying sesson..
Only the Q1 session was driven yesterday. Today the F1 drivers drove Q2 and Q3 and had to show what speed they could bring in their new 2013 F1 season cars..
Jenson Button was the first driver who used the dry supersoft tyres in Q3 and qualified 1st for half a minute. Then in the closing minutes of Q3 all top teams drove on super soft slicks and Sebastian Vettel came out as quickest on this first F1 GP quilifying session and earned his 37th pole position.
