In perfect conditions with a track temperature of 41°C and an air temperature of 28°C Lewis Hamilton won the 2012 Formula 1 Grand Prix of Italy.

Lewis started from pole position and kept the lead until his 1st pitstop. At this pitstop it was Sergio Perez (Checco). He started as 13th and because of his superb Sauber F1 car which is very gentle on the tires, he managed to pick up the lead.

After his pitstop he could even get passed Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. He never could be a real thread for Lewis Hamilton who was more then 10 second in the lead.

Worst case scenario was there for the Red Bull team. Both RB8 cars of Mark Webber and Sebastian Vettel had technical problems and had to retire.
