Differences between McLaren MP4-27 & MP4-28 F1 car
McLaren MP4-27 VS MP4-28
On this picture you can see the big changes between the 2012 and the 2013 F1 car of McLaren.
The whole car is a lot different then last years edition. The MP4-28 (below) has a different rear wing and coanda exhausts side pods. The mirrors are attached differently and the nose ends much higher then it’s predecessor.
It also looks like the upper suspension bar is attached a bit higher. That will have something to do with the Ferrari-style ‘pull-rod’ front suspension.
The wheel nuts are also more sophisticated. Maybe this change will help McLaren to even sharpen their 2.3 sec. pits stop world-record.
